Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical engineering (BME) or medical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes (e.g. diagnostic or therapeutic). Biomedical Engineering uses engineering tools and approaches to advance knowledge and solve problems in animal and human biology, medicine, and health care. this field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine, combining the design and problem-solving skills of engineering with medical biological sciences to advance healthcare treatment, including diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy.

Biomedical Projects

Design and Manufacture Hand Gloves Rehabilitation Device

Hand muscles do not perform their functions because of different reasons such as disease, injury, and trauma. It implemented some treatments for hand therapy at hospitals and rehabilitation centers. One of the important issues for these devices, placed on the user’s hand, is force transmitting. Finger exercises based on flexion and extension movement can be performed using the new glove.

Design and Manufacture of 3D Printed Hand for Prosthetic Application
